Aleira

I would recommend this product to anyone that has a horse that has allergies to shavings or bugs. Every horse we feed it to with a hives issues, solves the problem.

We've tried many topical approaches with different shampoos as well as multiple courses of antibiotics. Nutritionally we have tried increasing her Omega 3's as well as a couple of different immune booster supplements. None have been effective. A little over a month after starting the Aleira we noticed a definite reduction in her skin hives and irritations. Within 2 months her coat was in the best condition that it has ever been.

I was looking for something to improve Glorioso’s breathing without using steroids so that he could compete at the FEI levels. After a few weeks on Aleira he was no longer having the noise with breathing or shortness of breath.

Peanut got sick last fall at a futurity/derby and quit eating and drinking. When I got home I took her to the vet and she had a respiratory infection. After using my Equi-resp I was advised to start her on Aleira. After using it she has recovered great and is back to running strong again.

Wrangler had pneumonia as a 3 year old and almost died. They placed tubes in both lungs at the time of treatment and, afterward, he developed a cough which started to interfere with his performance. After about 90 days on Aleira, his issue resolved and we haven't had a problem since.

After importing “Highschool” from Germany we had continuous issues with skin irritation and hive like spots all over his back and hind quarters. Even though we tried medicated shampoos and conventional medicine, the skin irritation became so severe that we had to interrupt training. During a barn visit, Dr. Altman suggested to put “Highschool” on Aleira and combine it with the gastrointestinal conditioning program, Assure Guard Gold. Within a few weeks of being on the Aleira and Assure Guard Gold program, “Highschool’s” old hives started subsiding and no new ones were coming up. I was thrilled. That year we went on to place 3rd at the Prix Saint George Developing Horse Championships. We keep him on Aleira and Assure Guard Gold and his hives haven’t been back since. His coat looks stunning and he is performing at 100%.

Aleira's use as a therapy in both acute and chronic cases has impressed me to the degree that it has become a go to product in my practice and one that I highly recommend. In EIPH, IAD and severe dermatitis cases, Aleira has been a great success as an adjunctive therapy. A grand prix jumper I worked with who suffered from severe, chronic EIPH on a daily basis, showed marked clinical improvement after 45 days on Aleira. Other therapies and treatments had been unsuccessful in this horse. Aleira has since become a daily maintenance regimen for this horse. This is one of many cases where I have witnessed significant when using improvement when using Aleira.

We had our standardbred racehorse on Lasix and thought he was finished racing because of breathing problems. Added Aleria and he raced without strenuous breathing. I’m sold.
