Description

Lactated Ringer's Injection from Butler-KJ is for the replacement of acute fluid and electrolyte losses and for correcting mild acidosis.

Size Descriptions: 
1000ml size is a single bag. Enter 12 for a case.  
5 liter size comes in a case of two 5L bags.  

Administer

Use the entire contents or a lesser amount as determined by a veterinarian as a single dose, usually 3-10% of body weight. For intravenous or subcutaneous use. The solution should be warmed to body temperature and administered slowly.

Prescription drugs can only be shipped upon receipt of an original prescription from a licensed veterinarian. FarmVet can accept an original prescription in one of the following ways:

    The fax must originate from the veterinarian's office.

Prescriptions are non-refundable. Prescriptions are refillable if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year, prescriptions must be updated. Written prescriptions must include the veterinarian's license number, telephone number, and address. Federal law restricts the use of Rx drugs to use by, or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Protect from freezing. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. For animal use only. Not for human use. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not administer calcium containing solutions concurrently with stored blood. Do not use the product if the seal is broken or if the solution is not clear. If the entire contents are not used, discard the unused portion. Additives may be incompatible. When introducing additives, use the aseptic technique, mix thoroughly and do not store.
