Clindamycin Capsules 150 mg

Clindamycin by Qualitest is used to treat a variety of common infections in dogs and cats such as Staph pyoderma, wounds, abscesses, and dental infections. 

It has also been used to treat osteomyelitis, susceptible hepatobiliary or respiratory infections, anaerobic infections, intra-abdominal sepsis, actinomycosis, some methicillin resistant Staph infections, and susceptible protozoal infections, including Toxoplasmosis. 

Administer orally, with food. The capsules have a bitter taste, so it can be given with a treat or small amount of liquid. Do not give capsule dry.

Prescription Drug Policy:

Prescriptions CAN NOT be shipped to North Carolina, Hawaii or Alaska at this time.

Prescription drugs can only be shipped upon receipt of an original prescription from a licensed veterinarian. FarmVet can accept an original prescription in one of the following ways:

Prescriptions are non-refundable. Prescriptions are refillable if indicated by your vet, for up to one year from the original date. At the end of one year, prescriptions must be updated. Written prescriptions must include the veterinarian's license number, telephone number, and address. Federal law restricts the use of Rx drugs to use by, or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Side effects such as gastrointestinal upset, vomiting, diarrhea, and occasionally bloody diarrhea have been reported. Never give this capsule to your pet dry, it can cause esophagus damage.
